Indianapolis Mother's Day Photographer // Mommy and Me mini session

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing a mother and son for Mother's Day! We went to Holcomb Gardens at Butler University and had a great time! I really enjoy photographing little kids because they are so fun and you never know what kind of expression you might get from them or what might make them smile!

We started at the big set of stairs, where Carter was a little unsure of me and what this big camera in my hand was!

Then we walked through the forest to get to the gardens and stopped along the way for a picture! I think he's warming up to me...

Mommy knows how to get the best smiles from him!

Got him to laugh and it was one of the sweetest laugh's I've heard :)

We made it to the gardens and got the blanket out for something a little different!

You see, the first time I met Carter he was 6 months old and dressed as a giraffe...I think it's safe to say this little man loves giraffes!

I love this image...I think it speaks to how great of a mother Emily is!

I know it's a little late but happy mother's day to all the mom's out there. Your job is not easy, and usually under-appreciated, but at least someone was smart enough to make a mother's day so you can get some recognition! -Abby
