I really wanted to see Super Bowl Village without all the crowds, and I also wanted some cool night shots…so what did I do? I convinced my boyfriend and some people from work to meet me downtown at 4:30 AM this morning! And might I say…I LOVE downtown early in the morning…there’s almost no people and it’s a nice, quiet, calm.
So here are some pictures from this morning, hope you enjoy!
The BIG Super Bowl numbers on Monument Cirlce
The Monument with the Super Bowl XLVI Roman Numerals
Super Bowl Village at Meridian St. and Georgia St. (I have a sneaking suspicion this looks much more intriguing from above)
Ice Sculpture – it’s melting because it’s above 50 degrees!
Some Race cars that are down by the Convention Center
The Zipline and the fake football field
Lucas Oil Stadium…unfortunately, the big XLVI letters weren’t lit in the window…but if you look close enough you can see them!
The JW Marriott…I STILL can’t figure out how they put those up on the glass hotel. Is it a giant cling-on? If it is…someone sure has a steady hand and a good eye
That’s it for now…Hope you enjoyed it! -Abby
